With their T-shirt label Looky Looky, Luise, Conny and Julia represent the young cool and independent Berlin, full of cheeky repartee, big dreams and irrepressible joie de vivre.
What’s the most important sense to you?
The sense of touch.
As a creative person, what is your vision for your personal work?
Conny: Dreaming, more dreaming and turning dreams into reality. Doing, doing, doing.
Luise: Being able to make a living with something you’re passionate about, with as much freedom as possible.
Julia: Always finding myself in my work, and remaining creative, no matter what.
When was the last time you gave back and what did you do?
Luise: When people I am close to suddenly say: “You said something once to me and that’s why I had the courage to do xyz.” That makes me incredibly happy.
Julia: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I stick to that every day.
Do you have a vision to make this place a better one?
Conny: I think an unconditional basic wage would be a great starting point. Difficult…
Luise: I think if you go through life in an authentic way with eyes open and not just fixated on your own progress then you can change a lot. I rate human honesty highly. If you try to remember that the world consists of lots of very different individuals and everyone can contribute their bit and that it’s not always everyone else’s fault then that would be a big step toward solving the problem.
Julia: It should start with mutual respect. Dealing with the environment in a responsible way would be a first step. And you shouldn’t take some people too seriously.
Who is your personal hero?
Conny: My parents, my grandparents, Loriot, Looky Looky.
Luise: To find just one is difficult so: my parents, my boyfriend, LookyLooky, Elvis and Olli Schulz and sometimes also Berlin.
Julia: My parents, Björk, Karl Valentin and LookyLooky.
