When Marcin Oz isn’t touring with his band The Whitest Boy Alive you’ll find the dedicated mariner somewhere between the fjords of Norway and the straits of Gibraltar, at the helm of his boat.

What’s more important to you: sound or vision?
They are of equal importance… sound can be more annoying though.

As a creative person, what’s your vision for your personal work?
I can see a round black piece of vinyl surrounded by cardboard with interesting icons.

When was the last time you gave back and what did you do?
I financed a recording studio for young people in Bergen/Norway together with Erlend Oye. Also I’m giving music away for free most of the time.

What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?
It’s always nature’s creations that are the most beautiful.
