Did you know that our friend, film producer and co-founder of Editude Pictures, Frederic Leitzke, is also a DJ? As one half of the duo, Jazoburbs, or as efalive, he has been bringing beats to crowds since 2003. Now Freunde von Freunden, an international interview magazine that portraits people of diverse creative and cultural backgrounds in their homes or within their daily working environments but presents its own mixtapes on the corresponding blog, too, asked Frederic to select his favorite songs. The result is a mixtape which is definitely worth a listen, featuring Mount Kimbie, Schwarz Dont Crack, Super Flu, &ME among others.

Susi Streich and Yasar Ceviker love to travel. In the past the collections which they designed for their own fashion label A Kind Of Guise (AKOG) took us to Scotland, Beirut or Mexico but for their current collection everything is different: “You can travel and search for new experiences as much as you like, but there are only very few moments that beat the feeling of ‘coming home’. This season, we want to share the joy of being able to call a place your home. For us, this place is Munich, Germany.” Munich is their home – as a couple who lives in a beautiful flat as well as their working basis. The international interview magazine Freunde von Freunden visited Susi and Yasar and invites us to immerse in the world and life of A Kind Of Guise which started off as a student project during the summer of 2009 but soon developed into something much bigger. Today the range of their collection has grown but they still remain true to their principles: They produce everything sustainably and locally.

Freunde von Freunden paid a visit to their two-room apartment in the quiet area of Neuhausen as well as their store in Schwabing in Munich and took some time out in their kitchen to hear Yasar and Susi narrate the beginnings of their designer careers, the history behind their collections and what they would do with ten million euros.
