As soon as William Trubridge dives deep into the big blue sea he turns into a small dot who moves back and forth but in the midst of this liquid vast he becomes almost invisible. Not only The Avant/Garde Diaries who have just released a video featuring the world champion and world record holder in the sport of freediving (breath hold diving) are mesmerized by this man but we are as well!

To prepare himself for another routine descent into the dark and mystical silence of the deep ocean William Trubridge closes his eyes and relaxes – “any errant thought robs the body of valuable energy, as does any unnecessary movement or visual stimuli.” Just off the Honduran island of Roatán, The Avant/Garde Diaries captured this fascinating person and his lonesome journeys into the ocean. The result is a beautiful video which you should not miss to watch:
